    I love big balls 🙂

I can’t wait to see them! I can’t wait to see the whole stadium next Friday.

    • trublu4ever says:

I don’t blame you. The stadium is going to be awesome! I will have to make a trip to L.A. this year for sure.

Puig made an out. Send him to the minors.

  4. crash24now says:

A pair of Cruz missiles today. He’s ready to take the 5-hole spot until Hanley comes back.

    Hall of Fame Balls!

  6. It will be good to have a Crawford game played in LF under our belts. Lets hope it will end with a healthy Dodger outfield. Puig is waiting in the wings and who knows how this will all play out. I was looking forward to Gordon playing short again but it looks like it will be Cruz, at least that’s the latest from Donnie, so it looks like, as expected Dee will also be waiting in the wings down there in Albuquerque.
There’s a lot of expectation for the Dodgers, the most pressure this team’s had in a long time. Let’s hope they can live up to it.
    GO DODGERS!!!!!!!

It would be a lot easier to live up to the expectations with Hanley’s bat in the lineup all year. That assumes he doesn’t give up more runs on defense than he produces.

    We want Puig!
    We want Puig!
    We want Puig!

  8. messagebear says:

Donnie’s obviously a guy who believes that every aspiring major leaguer needs to spend some time in the minors learning how to hit minor league pitchers – doesn’t matter if he can already hit major league pitchers, So it goes with Puig. It will be a travesty if they don’t keep him him with the Dodgers.

  9. Dodger4life says:

I read somewhere, I don’t remember where? That if Puig spends three weeks in the minors the Dodgers will control his rights one season longer. I have also been thinking about what would happen if Puig comes up and doesn’t get off to a fast start, like he has this spring. In saying this, he sure looks like a good ballplayer…

    Go Dodgers!!

    HI ITD,
Ok Where are these big balls being placed in the stadium? I will find out out August 30th weekend, I have ended my hold-out in protest to to that former ownership. I’m really excited for this season to get on. I remember not so long ago when we didn’t have great options at many positions, now we have an abundance of players competing for spots. When Hanley comes back we should be even better. Let’s see how they play out, Donnie has the tools, now he has to use them properly. Puig and Ryu should be on the 25 man roster, and Im thinking management doesn’t have to make a trade or a move until all things are running. That may mean Harang goes AAA, but he won’t like that and will demand a trade, could the dodgers use more Bullpen support, of course. All is good.

I know it’s Dodger blog, but as a Bruin alum I want to go on record as saying I’m very sad to see Howland fired. I think he’s a class guy. The state of college basketball with one-and-done is in tatters.

    • lbirken says:

Kahli, I share your sentiments. Perhaps it is time for a change after 10 years but clearly Coach Howland is a class guy and always seemed to have the player’s best interests at heart. The expectations are high at UCLA, perhaps too high and that can lead to a lot of disappointment. Dodger fans know that all too well. However, I would rather have high expectations than none. the question is, will anyone decent want this job knowing how difficult it will be to fulfill those expectations? Go figure that both UCLA and USC, a program with almost no expectations, would both be searching for new basketball coaches at the same time.

Why is Ned still here!! Probably because he is the ultimate ass kissing/yes man…. Geez!!!!

  13. enchantedbeaver says:

This being the last week of ST I was kinda hoping that Donnie and crew would turn up the intensity a notch or two.

  14. It looks like Capuano’s good outing in front of opposing scouts may be his Dodger exit.

    • trublu4ever says:

I think Harang and GrrrRear should go too!

      • enchantedbeaver says:

More of Ned’s crap signings that should’ve never happened, especially Guerrier. $12M for a middle reliever. What an idiot. Now I suppose we’ll be stuck with Gregg. Why do we draft guys like Tolleson, Guerra, Wall and Rodriguez if they keep bringing in over the hill veteran crap? Any of those guys could pitch rings around the likes of Guerrier and Gregg, and I don’t even like Guerra.

  15. enchantedbeaver says:

OK, I KNOW some of you answered the Dodger’s survey…

What kind of car are they and why???

  16. trublu4ever says:

    Puig to AA….Gordon AAA.

  17. trublu4ever says:

First inning and BOOM….Harang gives up a grand slam….ugh!

  18. enchantedbeaver says:

Pretty unimpressed with what will probably be our starting line-up against a second/third rate pitcher.

    • trublu4ever says:

Don’t worry…be happy 😉 My boy only had one at bat (a triple at that)….Donnie is still playing around…doing his dumb-ass thing!

  19. trublu4ever says:

I still think it will either be Hairston or Punto at 3rd.

Since it is after midnight in New York and Ohio, I would like to wish Oldbrooklynfan and Jhall a very Happy Birthday! I hope you both have a fabulous day! Love you both!
    GO DODGERS!!

  21. trublu4ever says:

    Yes, Happy Birthday.

  22. Dodger4life says:

Happy Birthday to both Wally and OBF…
    .
Harang looked like his heart wasn’t in it (at least to me)…What was the deal with the sunglasses???
    .
It is hard to believe that a player can hit over .500 the entire spring and not make the Opening Day roster…Outstanding job Mr. Puig!!

  23. Dodger4life says:

    500 ponds of duck crap???

  24. JhallWally says:

So, can we unload Harang or Lilly??? I hope so….. Out of the Lilly, Harang, Capuano bunch, I would keep Capuano…

I’ll say it again, why is Ned still employed..?

    Uribe, Lilly, Grrear… Geez!!!

Like Tru said, unload Grrrear somehow!!!!!

    • JhallWally says:

If some team wants one of our excess pitchers, make them pay…
Take Grrrear or Uribe in the deal…
How sweet would it be to unload the ill advised signings and just plain stupid trio of Lilly, Uribe, and Grrrear….

      ????????????

  25. Happy birthday Wally and OBF!
