I’m so glad Dodger Baseball is back….four days without nearly killed me šŸ˜‰

  2. crash24now says:

I’ve got just two messages for the Dodger players:
    1. If you’re not healthy, get healthy.
    2. If you are healthy, stay healthy.

  3. crash24now says:

    Lineup

    Crawford LF
    Puig RF
    Gonzalez 1B
    Ramirez SS
    Ethier CF
    Ellis C
    Uribe 3B
    Ellis 2B
    Nolasco P

I hope Crawford can hit. I hope Puig got his power back.

  4. messagebear says:

That looks like the best lineup we can put together, at least on paper. If Crawford can’t hit, let’s get rid of him – we have plenty of other outfielders who are short on hitting, but who can at least field their position.

  5. crash24now says:

Nolasco has already given up a run due to his own wild pitch.

  6. crash24now says:

    Han-Ram!! He’s still mashing!

  7. crash24now says:

It’s starting to look like we will have a new look outfield on Sunday with no platooning:

    Ethier LF
    Kemp CF
    Puig RF

  8. crash24now says:

Nice job by Nolasco, escaping unscathed from bases loaded with no outs.

  9. trublu4ever says:

    Way to go Dre!

  10. trublu4ever says:

    yes…way to start 2nd half!

  11. I probably won’t see any games over the weekend, maybe parts of a few, but I’ll be back on Monday.
Great to read that Andre came though with his 6th HR to win it tonight.

  12. lbirken says:

It was not that long ago we thought Ethier would be trade bait by the end of July. Anyone think that now?

  13. koufax1963 says:

To go up vs Strasbourg and come away with a win is fantastic, Gio will be tough but grieneke pitches like he did last Saturday dodgers should win. And I have to admit I’m rooting for the gnats this weekend. GO DODGERS

  14. crash24now says:

Where o where is Crawford today? He’s 2-30 after coming off the DL. Perhaps Donnie grew a brain?

  15. crash24now says:

We’ve still got a 400 hitter – no, not Puig. No, not Hanley. It’s Greinke at .406!!!!!!!!

  16. crash24now says:

Stupid bloop hit! Puig needs to learn to play closer in. All in good time.

  17. crash24now says:

Nice decision to use a .259 hitter to pinch-hit for a .406 hitting pitcher.

  18. trublu4ever says:

    Yes….new ball game!

  19. vl4eccjr says:

I’m thinking since Puig went to the Playboy mansion, his mind might be on something other than hitting these days. . .

  20. vl4eccjr says:

    Thanks Hanley! šŸ™‚

  21. vl4eccjr says:

Holy crap! Crawford got a hit!

  22. Just got back from the Feast, Hope Kenley can close this out.

  23. trublu4ever says:

    WOO-HOO…LOVE MY BOYS IN BLUE!

    • JhallWally says:

Woo-Hoo, win streak!!!! How sweet it is… Just a half game out of first and putting the pressure on the snakes… Just gotta stay healthy….. Hard to believe how dead in the water this team was just a month ago… Go Dodgers!!!

  24. Okay another win. Tomorow’s is the feast finally and I’ll be back on Monday.

  25. D-backs lose to the Giants we’re a 1/2 back,

  26. enchantedbeaver says:

IF this team would go on to win the WS, would it be more or less improbable than the ’88 squad?

    • lbirken says:

Too soon for this conversation. If the Dodgers do go all the way, we can spend some quality time during the off season comparing the team’s.

  27. koufax1963 says:

88 was the team of destiny, this year is the team to be dynasty, at least they payed for it to be that way. greinke wasn’t his best, but a win we take

  28. crash24now says:

Let’s see what Kemp’s got. meanwhile, Hanley continues to carry this team. it’s nice to have him hitting so hot between A-Gon and Dre, who are doing pretty well, too.

  29. Guess Matt is ready. That was a tremendous home run! WTG, Matt!!!

  30. ZonaDodger says:

    Nice hr Kemp

  31. trublu4ever says:

    Yes, way to go Matt!

  32. ZonaDodger says:

    Looking good boys šŸ™‚

  33. This inning has been beyond amazing. Clayton must be sitting there and thinking he’s finally getting run support – at long last.

  34. There goes the shutout – darn!!! And I thought this was going to be a pitcher’s duel, too.

  35. ZonaDodger says:

    that’s ok….1 run Kersh

  36. crash24now says:

Oh boy, with Kemp, this offense has just turned up another two notches. How sweep it is!

  37. ZonaDodger says:

Come on Crawford lol….Dbl would have been good

  38. ZonaDodger says:

    nice win boys..on to Tor

  39. Hope Kemp’s ankle is ok.

  40. The feast is over and it’s back to baseball.

  41. messagebear says:

Ryan Braun is just another example of the total farce associated with Bud Selig and the whole MLB establishment. Cutting any kind of a deal with that lying bastard piece of shit is total abandonment of principle – no surprise where Selig is involved. They’re making it out like Braun is some kind of forthcoming hero to accept the consequences and promise to be an outstanding citizen when he returns. He’s only forthcoming because he was CAUGHT. He’s a lying piece of shit because he’s a lying piece of shit, PERIOD.
