    It’s only 2:45 and I’m already a nervous wreck!

  2. 32and53fan says:

I hope my comment about hitting rock bottom was correct and we are on the long climb back to the top.

  3. Hi Everybody
Well it’s been two straight wins.
    Go Ryu Go Dodgers!!!!!!

  4. Let’s go Dodgers – clap, clap – clap, clap clap!

  5. Gave that run back quickly.

  6. Dodger4life says:

  7. Ryu’s not very sharp but the Giants are not taking advantage of it.
Ryu though, is really navigating well tonight.

  8. Beli came through!

  9. Bumgarner is just being Bumgarner.

  10. PUIG does it again, mam o man, wow.

  11. trublu4ever says:

    YES!!!!!

  12. He’s pretty darned amazing. Great way to break into the great Dodger-Giant rivalry.

  13. Ok, Kenley, do your thing!

  14. It’s up to Kenley.

  15. 3 Straight. ………33 Wins.

  16. trublu4ever says:

    WOW…3 IN A ROW!

    • JhallWally says:

Woo-Hoo, win streak…. A real one.. Nice win… Kudos to Ryu and the bullpen…. Let’s wreck the Gnats season even if we don’t do squat…

  17. grizzy says:

    Was that our bullpen?

  18. JhallWally says:

Isn’t it interesting that Uribe has a higher BA than Ethier.. And has been more clutch… Just saying…. Uribe is playing for his next contract, and Ethier is shitting on his…

  19. Things seem to be turning around.

  20. He’s baaaaack! Batting fifth . . . . Center Fielder, Matt Kemp!!

    • messagebear says:

Yeah, he really showed how he can hit AAA pitching.
Even Donnie questioned whether he was yet in the groove, but Matt apparently wants to be in the lineup whether he can contribute or not, and management doesn’t have any balls to say otherwise.
All I can say is, he better hit, or the selfish bastard ought to be sent down for a month.

      • I was very surprised to read about him being taken off the DL today. According to what I understand, he has to work on his timing, but heck, he’s got the potential to be better than Hairston or Schumaker.

  21. Hi Everybody
Got the Giant feed but who cares, just looking for another Dodger win.

  22. enchantedbeaver says:

Hey, what’s all this crap I hear about being buyers rather than sellers at the trade deadline? This frickin bozo will never learn.

  23. trublu4ever says:

    WAY TO GO MARK!

  24. Maek Ellis’ 4th homer 20 RBI

  25. It’s hard to put a zero up there for the other team after the Dodgers score.

  26. It really bothers me that Mattingly doesn’t have the infield play up more often to protect one-run leads – especially when they should! It’s not like the Dodgers are just going to score a bunch of runs or something!!

  27. trublu4ever says:

    I SEE YOU…BAM!

  28. Nice to see FEDEX come through.

  29. DAMN we can’t keep them from scoring after we score.

  30. Tough game- 2 more innings to go.

  31. vl4eccjr says:

If League could only throw strikes. . . .

  32. I don’t have much confidence in League.

  33. enchantedbeaver says:

Donnie proving once again with League that it doesn’t matter how many stars you have on your team if you have a moron running the show.

  34. About time Donnie woke up.

  35. We’re still in the game.

  36. YES….WE WON.. What a fight to make it 4 in a row.

  37. trublu4ever says:

    THANK-YOU, MATT! WHEW!

  38. I think it’s time to run League out of town on a rail – along with Mattingly, Ned and all the other incompetents.

    • vl4eccjr says:

If Marmol can get DFA’d from the Cubs with a better track record than League, something is seriously wrong with Dodger management!!!

  39. vl4eccjr says:

Whew! Paco & Matt to the rescue!!!

  40. Paco did a fantastic job of pulling that one out.
    A great save.

  41. enchantedbeaver says:

Unbelievable that Donnie even lets League near the mound in a close game let alone use him in one. Another Ned 2 month wonder that turns into a three year disaster. When will this club wake up and start DFAing worthless pieces of crap regardless of contract? Its not like new ownership can’t absorb the loss.

    • The game wasn’t all that close when he came in, only when he left. If I were the manager, I’d only let League pitch in hopelessly lost games as a mop-up guy. If the game is lost, then we can’t get hurt by his inability to get outs.

      • enchantedbeaver says:

You know the biggest problem Sparks? As long as he’s on the team, he’ll ALWAYS be a late inning guy to Mattingly. Donnie’s Joe Torre Jr. and dammit, League is a closer regardless of whether he can get an out or not because that’s what he is.

Same damn thing we saw with JoJo whether it was using Sweeney as a PH or Brox after Joe wore his arm out. That was their job period no matter how many times they failed.

        • As usual, you hit the nail square on the head, E. Well said!

          • enchantedbeaver says:

I suspect tomorrow League will come down with a mystery ailment so that Ned can stash him on the DL and save some face on the idiotic contract he gave him. Its the only thing too that will keep Donnie from using him.

          • JhallWally says:

Yep Beav, recto-cranial inversion from Ned…

    • JhallWally says:

Just one more reason that Ned should be fired… Schmidt, Pierre, Jones, etc….. The man is inept….

      • JhallWally says:

And you thought Ned could not top his incredibly bad deal with Guerrear….. He basically makes the same mistake and with more money…. Geez!!!!

  42. The mained thing is we won the game. These games are annoying at times but when you win them it’s a great feeling.
This was a battle. The Giants fought us tooth and nail.
I agree League stinks and is a terrible closer and we’ll suffer as long as we have him. I hope they give up on him, like we have.
But I think the offense is picking it up. 4-13 with RISP is nothing to brag about but they’re getting better at it.
After watching some replays I have to say that Matt’s catch was spectacular and saved the game.
Come on, we won 4 in a row and we beat the World Champs to do it.
On top of that Clayton pitches tomorrow(or tonight here).

  43. vl4eccjr says:

Matt’s catch only came in at 3 on ESPN’s top ten! 😦
    What a crock!!!

  44. grizzy says:

Could these be the guys we’ve been waiting for?

  45. enchantedbeaver says:

Saw this mentioned on another site about Donnie… “When you’ve just won your 4th game in a row and people are still calling for you to get fired, you know its bad.”

Yes, yes it is. Donnie’s a complete moron.

  46. crash24now says:

Matt’s catch last night was huge. Not only for the win, but also as a statement that Matt is back. Keep watching for the Puig/Gonzalez/Hanley/Kemp show!

Oh, and Hanley is plainly on fire!

  47. 32and53fan says:

Don’t forget Crawford. He still leads the team in runs scored despite being out so long. When he returns, it will be a challenge to make up the lineup for starting outfielders. Van Slyke will provide some power off the bench. It could get interesting if they can keep producing runs.

  48. 32and53fan says:

I’ve got a feeling that Kershaw will be on his game tonight. Go for the pentawin.

  49. No Kemp tonight – Puig back in right, Schu in left. Wonder why?

    • trublu4ever says:

Donnie said a scheduled day off…I guess playing a few re-hab games and last night warranted it.

  50. Hi
I don’t know what it is but when we’re winning I get nervous. I start worrying about losing. I can’t figure it out but when we’re losing I don’t feel that way.
    Com’on Kersh, Let’s go Dodgers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  51. enchantedbeaver says:

Kemp’s either ready to play or he’s not. If he’s not, then call up someone else. If he is, then play him. NOTHING Donnie does makes any sense.

  52. enchantedbeaver says:

And as much as AJs been struggling, and since FedEx got a couple hits last night, who does Donnie start?

  53. Nice clutch hit by Hanley.

  54. It never fails, if the Dodgers score the Giants come right back.

  55. enchantedbeaver says:

How can your top 4 in the line-up be 6 for 11 with a walk and you’ve only scored 1 run?

  56. enchantedbeaver says:

My Gawd – is Donnie trying to play NL ball??!!

    • trublu4ever says:

I think they are ignoring him…doing it on their own.

    • enchantedbeaver says:

Now look. Guys run, it puts some pressure on the D, rattles Pothead, and they score two runs. Why can’t Donnie see this is how to play ALL the time?

  57. Now the question is, Can Kershaw shut the Giants down in the 7th? Can he put up a zero?

  58. NOW THAT’S BETTER.

  59. trublu4ever says:

Nail biting time…3 outs to go for a victory.

  60. vl4eccjr says:

That little shrimp Scutaro is becoming a real thorn in the Dodgers sides!

  61. trublu4ever says:

    YES, YES, YES!

  62. 5 IN A ROW!!!!!!!!!!!

  63. enchantedbeaver says:

How can this team only be 6 games back?

  64. vl4eccjr says:

    SWEEP!!!

  65. We sweep the Gnats! My gosh, it feels good to say that.

  66. grizzy says:

Let us creep a little closer to first place by the all-star break. Just two or three games. Just a little positioning for the stretch run.

  67. Dodger4life says:

    Way to go UCLA!!
    .
Sweeping the Giants was impressive… Bring on the Phillies!!!
