Luis Cruz is looking more and more like persona non grata. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets the ol’ DFA when Hanley comes off the disabled list, hopefully on Monday.
I’m wishing that Matt Kemp has an MVP series to show up the cheater Ryan Braun.

Beckett may give up taters but at least he’s throwing the ball over the plate, challenging hitters. Pitchers who don’t trust their stuff are boring, timid nibblers. Billingsley? Beckett is a key. I think he’ll get better and better all season.

However, it doesn’t mask the fact that the two highest paid relievers on this team (League and Guerrier) suck….

Good win for the boys last night in spite of the 4 errors. I agree that League needs to step it up because closers are not supposed to give up runs.
I was at last night’s game and noticed something I have not seen in a long time. Obviously a lot of fans were bored by the game because some of the biggest ovations came when paper airplanes landed on the field, one near the mound. Never mind there is a game being played and that one of these seemingly harmless pieces of paper might hit a player or fan in the eye, but with the insidious beach balls and annoying waves getting so much attention, I sometimes wonder if half the people at the game even care or know much about what is happening on the field. I don’t think this is unique to Dodger Stadium and maybe I am just a cranky guy but when I attend a game, I want to watch the play on the field. Apparently, some people don’t and coming to a game for the food and atmosphere is enough for some.
Include me in the society of cranky guys.

Went to bed last night with a lead, when I got up to check the score ANOTHER one had gotten away. Good teams win their share of games like last night.
The one good thing is: If this team does not make the playoffs, I believe Ned and Dildon are gone…. I think they should have been gone from day one of the new management. Nedcompoop should have been gone after his first two years.
This might be the weakest bullpen we’ve assembled in some time?
Josh wall giving up the slam after inserting an extra infielder, just screams I am not ready…Although Donnie shouldn’t of let it get to Josh in the first place. Guerrier is wishy and washed up…Belisario has been inconsistent…Howell has been shaky at times as well…back to Donnie using everyone in the pen like he has a Hall of Fame closer to call on, you don’t …you have Brandon ( I’m a crap shoot and some) League…Honeycutt has some work to do with this bunch…
I have never been a Big fan of Ned, so if he is shown the “Exit” sign I will be happy and although, I like Donnie Baseball, if he can’t get this dysfunctional group Ned has given him to achieve success, then I suppose I can learn to like the next guy as well!
Anyhow’s… it sure would be nice to walk away from our own stadium with a series win and not have to have Kershaw shoulder the entire load, the entire day.
