Please….let’s do this guys!
I guess you didn’t see that I already had a post. Oh well, it’s all good. 🙂
I’m so sorry.
No problem. I was actually going to comment on the last post inviting someone to write a new post. I have some work I need to get done. I guess writing a new post myself is a way of procrastinating to avoid work. 😦
Let’s switch to yours….I like it better 😉
Jerry Crasnick
Dodgers and Cubs discussing a Ryan Dempster-for-Josh Lindblom deal, source says.
I hope not!
Me too! Stan…go after Shields or Johnson, please.
Let’s beat the Gnats
Jerry Crasnick
A second source says Lindblom as part of package to #Cubs is “completely unfounded.” So nothing new with Dempster
I’m with Tru and sparkle….Shields or Johnson
God I hate Krud & Krap! Damn Comcast hs to black out my Vinny!
YAY….Barney & Jerry 😉
………….and, Marky, Mark, too!
We missed out on Greinke – he’s going to the Angels.
I kind of figured with Nedcompoop still at the helm that Greinke didn’t have a chance to become a Dodger. He’s still young & has alot of years left in that arm. Ned will land someone on the downside of their career.
Keep it going boys!
The Dodgers are showing much more life than they did in St. Louis.
Maybe the game time temperature being a little more than half of what it was in the gateway helps. . . 😉
Don’t know why they’re doing better. But they really, really need this one. So much better for FIfe to beat Cain and be just two behind the hated ones than the alternative. I hope I didn’t just jinx it.
Sheeeeit!!
We’ve been saying that every game for quite a while now!
It really sucks! Fife deserved the win.
I hope Kasten’s taking notes on Mattingley’s poor managerial skills. Belisario’s been pitching poorly for at least 2 weeks and yet Donnie keeps trotting him in in critical hold situations at the set-up man. Only thing he’s been setting up lately is another loss.
He definitely hasn’t been right. With the drop in his velocity, I wonder is he’s getting over worked?
Sounds like a Joe Jr. problem to me.
Has he been right since his AS break trip back to Venezuela?

Nope!
This team could be made up entirely of all-stars and I’d wager they still couldn’t hit.
Works every time!
( 😉 )
Hanley!
Hanleyyyyyyyyyyy
Thank you, Hanley.
It ain’t over til it’s over.
WTF, Jansen!
Whew!!
That is so sweet!!!!
Whew! Another nail biter!
Never easy is it?
It wouldn’t be the Dodgers if it was easy 🙂
I’m starting to feel guilty about the deal for the new guy. Maybe we should send another player to the Marlins.
*
What’s up with Belisario?
*
Great!!!!!!! to get a win Cain starts. It’ll be interesting, to say the least, to see what the roster looks like come August. Win this series and when Kemp starts up again, we could see something.
Tremendous win for the Dodgers last night in what is turning out to be a typical Dodger game. Let’s hope the Dodgers keep the momentum, unlike what happened in St. Louis after winning the first game of that series. Still, there has to be some concern over the relief pitching. If not Beli, then who do you use in his place? Even Kenly had to pitch out of a jam.
Channeling Good Chad. They are on Fox today and I can see the game, so give me Good Chad or give me…wait a minute. Just give Good Chad.
Look at todays lineup:
M. Ellis, 2b
Dre, rf
Matty, cf
Hanley, 3b
Hairston, lf
Rivera, 1b
Cruz, ss
A.J., c
Billz, p
I like this….Dre & Matty get more at-bats.
Woo-Hoo…..two on the board!
Why wouldn’t you PH Loney there with a guy at third and a RHP going against Rivera. Does Donnie even have one iota of how to manage a game?
I don’t think he does. He proves it more and more everyday.
Seriously, if we had a manager that was actually an in game tactician, or even one that was halfway paying attention, we’d be at least 5 games better than we are now.
I agree 100%!
Way to go A.J.!
By the way….shut up Karros! How dare you degrade the team that made you famous!
Mr.Kemp yesssssssssssssssss…Hanleyyyyyy
Oh, my….I’m loving this team today!
If Hanley can keep this up and play to his potential another couple years, that trade will have been an absolute steal.
A steal indeed enchanted
Andre…..Beautiful catch
I love that guy 😉
Wow…..who is that guy on the mound?! Seven scoreless innings….oh, my!
Was about to ask the same thing.
( ( 🙂 ) )
The good Bills lol
We don’t see enough of this one.
Why if it isn’t Bad Penny. Shouldn’t he be retired by now?
Or stayed in Japan lol
Come on Javy……DP ball
Maybe we will have the good Javy today also!
Javy sucks and should be down in AAA.
Exhale!
Choate would’ve been prefect but he’s not available.
Agree enchanted
Whew….Thought for sure Javy was going to blow it there
Just missed hitting for the cycle.
Dang I was hoping Kemp hit it in triple alley and get his cycle.
Give me a big 10! Yay!
Nice going Kemp and Hanley
Let’s hope we get that and more tomorrow
Sigh no good save those runs for tomorrow. We just got to hit into a dp. Lets have a 1 2 3 innings Guerra.
Awesome! Let’s do it again tomorrow!
Awesome game today…Let’s sweep…Have a great night all
Any word on how Andre is? And why he was taken out?
Mattingly said Dre was removed simply for precautionary reasons…didn’t want to take any chances after that catch.
Congrats to Eovaldi – he won his first game as a member of the fish.
All he really needed was some run support. I’m happy for him too.
Nice!
Didn’t like to lose him – I thought he’d make a nice #3 or 4 starter, but you have to give up quality to get quality, and Ramirez is an everyday impact type player. Could be it’ll be one of those rare trades that’ll work out for both sides.
Let’s sweep the Gnats
Here is the lineup today for the sweep of the Giants:
M. Ellis, 2b
Rivera, lf (not crazy about this)
Kemp, cf
Ethier, rf
Ramirez, 3b
Loney, 1b
Cruz, ss
A.J. Ellis, c
Kershaw, p
Guess Hairston needs a day off – and I’m not excited about Rivera playing either. At least Dre didn’t suffer from falling on his tailbone . . . we can be grateful for that.
Any reason that Tony Gwynn is not in the lineup? We only have two lefties in today’s lineup, and one is Loney 😦
Anyway, a sweep means a share of first place! Go Dodgers!
Hanley
Now is the time to add to our run total….GO DODGERS!
Well…so much for that…..next inning then 😉
Cruz has won his position by his awesome playing ability….sorry, but, when Dee gets back, he should be the fill-in.
Im loving this! What a weekend! Belisaro has room to fudge.
AWESOME!!
A sweep of the Vagiants in their park is always sweet!
Wonderful series guys…..let’s go home and continue the magic!
Kersh is back in fine form too pitching a CG Shutout!
Sweepppppppp…Love it
I’m going to have to say that if Clayton gets on a 2 month roll and they pick-up a bonafide #2, then these guys have a chance.
I was wrong, no belisario, clayton a complete game shutout. jello shots left over from Brad Paisley this weekend. I wish I could share.
Way to go Dodgers! Now to wait for any more deals! And it was fun listening to a humbled kruk and kuip.
I’m sure that makes it double sweet.
Hi Everybody.
Great to be back in a vertual tie for first place.
Hoping for some help from my hometown Mets.
Always great to see you, Oldbrooklynfan!
Big night so far for Sands in Nashville – 2 grand slams. He doesn’t appear to have a future in L.A., especially since we signed Puig, but maybe he could be a decent trading chip here at the deadline.
What a great weekend to be a Dodger fan, especially amongst Giants fans. I didn’t get to see any of the games, but I was listening to Jon Miller for the Saturday and Sunday game. He and Dave Fleming were pretty good in giving the Dodgers the credit they deserve. Bragging rights for a little while around here!
