Damn! When it rains it pours! Everything went south in a hurry! 😦

  9. vl4eccjr says:

Loading the bases in two consecutive innings with no out, and scoring only one run is unacceptible!!

I keep reading here and there that Kershaw isn’t the pitcher he was last year…. Well, yeah, maybe… but he’s still the best we’ve got and I really do not think we can ask any more from the pitching staff as a whole. The offense has been averaging around three runs a game lately, which isn’t going to be enough over the long haul, but still this patch work team is doing a good job to be where it is, everything considered. We get a couple of outfielders back from the DL and a couple of changes at the deadline and the season should get even more interesting.

I have to wonder how much Kershaw’s foot problem comes into play. I understand that any competitive professional wants to play through any minor hurts, but what he has could become serious, and I don’t know whether the Dodger’s medical staff is up to recognizing when it does.

I have no idea if Kershaw’s foot give him problems but the struggles the Dodgers have scoring runs has to add some pressure to all Dodger pitchers.

    Wonderful…we have Kennedy & Uribe tonight….boo!
