Last night the Force was with us. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. After all those scoreless innings, any runs including the unearned kind were welcome.
Tonight the Cincinnati Reds are in town. Let’s hope all the Star Wars fans will bring continued good luck to the Dodgers.
Isotopes lineup:
Herrera CF
Ellis C
Hairston 2B
Rivera RF
Loney 1B
Uribe 3B
Van Slyke LF
Cruz SS
Billingsley P
Uribe’s comming as Jabba The Hut – no costume necessary.
That’s a fact đ
I was thinking that Jarjar Binks could be played by Donnie.
Chadbacca will pitch for the Dodgers.
Jarjar Binks has to be one of the worst character ideas in the history of filmaking and especially surprising that a genius like George Lucas would create something like this. All kidding aside, I think Donnie deserves better.
I’m not much of a Star Wars fan.
Shawn Tolleson is going to Albuquerque, while Luis Cruz (a ss) is coming up.
Tolleson has not fared well in his first MLB stint. Hopefully, next time up he will stick.
Meanwhile, Gordon needs some help at ss.
Cruz is in the starting lineup. I don’t follow our minor leagues much at all. Other than stats, does anyone know anything about this guy?
I never heard of him. It probably means Gordon tweaked his leg running out a grounder last night and the medical staff wants to rest him.
Well in Tolleson case if you take out his last game he hasn’t pitch bad and had an ERA of 2.70.
He used to played for the Pirates and Brewers. I still want to see Josh Fields and have better success in the major than Cruz.

Sounds like another career minor leaguer. Once again proves how costly Frank McCourt’s tenure was to the Dodgers.
Heres my wild thought: the absence of Dre and Bison will lead to the discovery of Hererra and the rehabilitation of Loney to get consistent AB’s and get that AVG, RBIs and HRS way up! Dream I may.
JER – RY!!!
Jer-ry!!!!
Uribum with cranial rectal inversion. . . No surprise.
Dumb-ass Uribe!
We are on the same page tonight đ
CRUZ!!!!Way to go!
Wow! dodgers do play the reds well.
It’s wonderful to see the team scoring without the benefit of the opposition’s errors.
Uribe’s gotta go!
URIBE MUST GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Chad for saving Uribum’s fat ass! If that ball were a cheeseburger, he would have caught it!
It wouldn’t make a difference if it was an In-N-Out, or a Fatburger.
Yeah Chad! SO to end it. I keep fixating on the post before this before chiming in. Thanks Tru!
Its games like these Chad comes up with out of the blue just to remind you that somewhere in there he really does have talent.
And then of course he implodes.
POOF!!!
one run, cmon dodgers! Rally panties!
Poor Uribe….sprained his ankle….hope it’s a 60-day DL!
……make that a permanent DL!!!!!
Just him getting hurt improves the team.
At what point does Ned get fired?
They were talking about him on MLB Network today….saying with new owners, you don’t know if he is safe. I hope not!
Nor should he be. 6 years of mediocrity is enough.
This is another former Giant Ned signed who doesn’t earn his keep. They BOTH need to go – the sooner, the better.
Thanks Coffey!!
Say good night Gracie!
Good job Coffey! UGH!
Looks like the BIG BOOBS are back on the field tonight.
Anyone ever think that maybe instead of following these games we should be following the Isotopes, Lookouts, or Quakes? At least we would know those guys are trying.
We’re already watching the Isotopes… see the lineup.
typical Bilz , one inning head case, Kasten states ” consider colleti permanent” I paraphrase. lets wait till winter, Kim Ng?!!!
I had thought Uribe would eventually contribute, but he’s not healthy long enough to find a groove. Ned’s supposed to be looking for corner infielders, but Loney can at least take the field. I’d concentrate on 3rd, and see if Loney does one of his second half turn arounds.
It time to called up Josh Fields and give him a chance. RIP Andy Griffith
If we’re looking to give everybody at ABQ a fair shot at the majors, how about Cavazos-Galvez? His numbers in his minor league career seem as good as anybody’s. I don’t find him in the top twenty Dodger prospects, but we’ve had so many of the acknowledged prospects who’ve already failed, that I’m convinced that nobody really recognizes major league worthy talent in our farm system. By that reverse logic I would like to see what Cavaoz-Galvez can do up with the Dodgers.
The Chad Billingsley experience continues. Good Chad followed by Bad Chad. For some reason he has trouble regrouping after the bad and cannot get past the 5th or 6th inning. Certainly not what is expected out of the number 2 starter. Of course, pitching for the Dodgers these days is a big challenge by itself considering the lack of run support.
I agree that third base is more of an issue than first base. Loney at least plays a consistently good first base and he stays healthy. He may not hit that well but we all know he can get hot once in a while and drive in runs. Uribe is another story. While I think he has done o.k. defensively, he clearly has issues at the plate and he obviously cannot stay healthy. If only the Dodgers had a promising replacement for him.
Am loving the way the Gnats’ Lincescum got lit up…losing 8 – 0….but, it doesn’t matter if we can’t win! good piece of news for us….Coffey to DL….Tolleson recalled again.
