Chad has been good lately. We’d like another of those tonight.

  3. nedisajerk says:

Hammels lose his no hitter to Hayward with 2 outs in the 7th.

    Hi Everybody
I’d just like to make a personal announcement here. There’s no need for any responses or replies.Tonight may be my last time on OTD until further notice. I’m leaving for the hospital sometime on Tuesday for surgery on my Aorta on Wednesday. I’ve been told that I’ll be in the hospital for at least one week.
Just in case you’re wondering what happened to me.
    That said:
    LET’S GO DODGERS.

  5. trublu4ever says:

YAY….Billz made it through the 1st inning!

  6. trublu4ever says:

  10. crash24now says:

Timmy the Toker has given up two solo home runs in the first inning. Mariners 2, Giants 0.

  11. trublu4ever says:

    Well…our game is ugly!

  12. oldbrooklynfan says:

Looks like Billz brought his B (ad) game with him tonight.

  13. trublu4ever says:

    A little better.

  14. oldbrooklynfan says:

    Abreu, Ellis Loney- Let’s go.

  22. oldbrooklynfan says:

Dodger HRs, I’d say you were dreaming. They hardly do that.

  23. trublu4ever says:

    Good news….gnats are losing 7 – 4 ….keep your fingers crossed!

  24. trublu4ever says:

Umpire won’t give us a called strike! That’s BS!

  25. trublu4ever says:

    A wasted opportunity!

  26. oldbrooklynfan says:

Our prayers have been answered-Giants lost.

  27. trublu4ever says:

    God, Uribe…you suck!

    Good job by Lindblom.

  30. oldbrooklynfan says:

    Yes they can.

  31. trublu4ever says:

    Guess not!

  32. oldbrooklynfan says:

They could’ve but they didn’t. Still 4 up, though.

  33. lbirken says:

Sometimes the magic works and sometimes it doesn’t. OBF, you take care.

  34. grizzy says:

Fell asleep after the boys tied it up. Pretty disappointing that was the end of our scoring.

Looked to see what was on TV this afternoon and tonight and of course Boston is on ESPN. It’s a rare day they do not show the Sox or Yankees. I wonder if the ratings demand this or the programers suffer from oxygen deprivation.

  35. trublu4ever says:

I know nobody is around….just wanted to say….great catch Andre!

  36. Hey Tru! Yeah, I heard that catch. I’ve been finishing up my laundry and now ready to give my total attention to the game.

  37. grizzy says:

Quiet here today. What was the deal with the double play with Treanor? Must have left too soon.

  38. nellyjune says:

Awwwww c’mon!!! Okay, fine! Jerry can be the hero instead!

  39. trublu4ever says:

    Yes……now let’s bring TGJ home!

  40. Another amazing win by our Cardiac Kids! Let’s hope the Mariners help us, too. That’d be a wonderful thing 🙂

  41. trublu4ever says:

Giants lost…that makes our win even sweeter!

  42. grizzy says:

Makes you wonder what game that 3rd base ump was watching. How could he miss that call that badly?

    Big road trip coming up.

  43. Who says our judicial system isn’t broken? Clemens has been found innocent on all six charges.

    • koufax1963 says:

Yea, not much detail on what they based that aquittal on, but what does that say about Barry Bonds? on the flip side of the judicial system did you read about brian banks was exonerated of rape after 10 years, due to a facebook exchange with his accuser.

  44. lbirken says:

Clemens was not found innocent but he was found not quilty. I know, pretty much the same thing to most people but all it means is the government spent a lot of money but could not proove its case beyond a reasonable doubt. At this point I don’t care anymore about who used steroids because as far as I am concerned, more did than didn’t. The high profile players that most believe used PED’s will most likely never get in the Hall of Fame. That may have to serve as enough punishment. So Clemens may believe he won, but all he won was a case against lying to Congress.

  45. enchantedbeaver says:

I don’t find the judicial system to be broken, but I do find it to be a joke. Those that can pay for an acquittal usually get one, those that can’t, don’t.

On a lighter note – GO ANGELS!!!

  46. lbirken says:

Yes, I am certainly a big Angel fan the next three nights.

  47. nedisajerk says:

I hate to say this but someone to check Dickey and see if he’s on something. No one should be putting up numbers like this as a 37 years old. He just pitch another 1 hitter and this is his 2nd back to back 1 hitter in the past 2 games and has back to back 10+ k’s.

Dickey has allowed no earned runs in each of his last 5 starts (41 2/3 IP with one unearned run allowed). He ran his streak of zero earned runs allowed to 42 2/3 IP. In his last 6 starts, he is 6-0 with an ERA of 0.18 (48 2/3 IP with 1 ER allowed). He’s 9-0 in his last 11 starts (Mets outscored opposition 56-17). First pitcher since Dave Stieb to throw back to back one hitters (Sep 24 and 30, 1988.)

    • enchantedbeaver says:

Don’t really think a knuckleballer can be on much of anything except a good run. Give him his due, he’s really got it working right now.

      • trublu4ever says:

His knuckleball has quite a bit of zip on it…plus he also throws other pitches. I give him props too, Enchanted.
