Let’s give poor Nate some early run support. GO DODGERS!
Hi Tru and Everybody.
I’d really like to see Eovaldi finally get a win this year, but of course the main thing is to win and the Dodgers have found so many ways to that lately. I hope they keep that up.
Go Dodgers!!!
I just hope they can get him a couple hits.
….and, if Gordon would stop making damn errors!
….thank goodness, Nate picked him off!
Honestly, Gordon doesn’t have as many errors as I thought he would by now.
Of course, he hasn’t played in all the games I thought he would either.
That’s true….I’m just in my complaining mood tonight 🙂
I’m with enchanted…Come On, Boy’s… let’s get a couple of hits!!
Good to see you 😉
Hey D4, where you been?
.
Good to see you as well, tru
.
Kuna, Idaho and on occasions fishing, in the mountains.
Catch anything?
A bunch of trout…which gets used to go sturgeon fishing, on the Snake river…by the house.
.
a red fox, trying to steal my breakfast, which was fresh trout prepared on a hubcap from an 81 Toyota…and one wiley game warden, right after my buddy didn’t take his pole out of the water, as he left to take a walk.
What a bummer. I’ve only ever run into two game wardens in all the years I’ve been fishing. One in CA and one in NM.
I had a one day license at the time…He said you have two poles in the water. I corrected him and said “wrong, I didn’t bait or throw that pole out.” He asked who did…I gave my buddy up at that point…The game warden stayed there, (30min) until my buddy came back. It is a nice little res. up by Cascade Idaho, I drink beer and watch the eagles dive…which is pretty cool.
Nate escaped!
I’ve been having reoccurring pc problems…using google and the library to diagnose and repair them. My clock needs to be reset every hour at the present time, in order to hook up with my server.
SWEET……ANDRE!!!!!!!!!!!
#55
Woo-hoo a hit and a run for Eovaldi!!
Play Dre’ Play!!
Andre 🙂
Can’t defend those homeruns.
Man I wish we had some good young hitters like the Angels.
The Nationals have a few too.
Then again, Ned likes old farts like Uribe!
…..just as I said that, he got a hit 😉
Crap…the gnats are aready winning 4 – 0 and it’s only the 2nd inning!
I was watching it for a bit till the damage was done. Now I’m watching the Dallas reboot.
I’m recording it 😉
J.R. has just gotten more treacherous with age. The old cast members look great.
The entire cast was on The Talk today…….I loved Dallas! Never missed an episode!
I just seen the highlights on Baseball Tonight…Eovaldi got tagged.
I’m having a bad night. My TV has the game on a bad channel and after about a half hour I finally got up my MLB.TV on my computer, luckily I’ve been following the game on my note pad(a small lap top).
which I may have to go back to, if the big one goes down.
Way to go James!!!!
Thank-you, James….nice DP!
Whew!!!
Wow….you watch…this will be the turning point of the game! We’ve got this one in the bag!
Wow! I’m sure glad they got out of that jam!
Here I thought the Dodgers were the only team capable of not scoring with the bases loaded and nobody out.
I guess it happens to everybody.
People are reporting they think they felt an earthquake in So-Cal.
It’s reported it’s a 4.0 in the greater LA area.
Ah yes! Memories. . . I’ve been through a few of those.
That one doesn’t even count. 🙂
We had an earthquake in New York about a year ago.
Who does Nate have to kill to get some run support?
Ned would be a good start.
Poor guy…has a fantastic ERA and no wins!
This is his 3rd quality start.
Good call ump! Cheap trick!
Loney sucks.
Yes….great defense…..RALLY TIME!
To me. Mike Trout resembles Jerry Sands.
Matt Cain is 3 outs from a perfect game!
Cain did it. A perfect game.
CRAP!!!!
Crapola!
Perfect game by Matt Cain at AT&T Park.
Nice of Donnie trying to kill Jansen’s arm using him up 3 days in a row again.
Can’t win when you can’t hit, and you can’t expect the pitchers to be perfect all the time waiting for them to get them their one run. Kemp better get back soon, Dee better go back to hitting 8th, and Loney just better go away.
Congrats to Cain it’s the Giant win that stinks.
Ot ain’t over yet.
Maybe a wild pitch.
Sheeeit!
Close but no cigar.
Just trying to see if I can paste a photo on this blog.
Furgettaboudit
OBF, I fixed it for you. The syntax is:
The only way I ever post a picture on another blog is to click “IMG” below the photo and after right clicking on the blog I click “paste” I don’t type anything in.
I use photobucket. But apparently that doesn’t work on the blog.
I will try to add <img scr=" and see what happens
<IMG src="http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii148/Joepierrephotos/AndreEthierForallEthierholics.jpg%5B/IMG%5D
When I click the above link I received the following message:
This image or video has been moved or deleted … Photobucket.
I added the ending on, removing IMG and replaced that with “> but I got what you see below, the date and time but no photo.
I mean above.
Also I am unable to utilize your “Edit” system
What happens when you click on edit?
Teams come back after a no hitter thrown at them, Giants lose. 4Back
That’s the best news of the day.
Happy 86th birthday to Dodger Legend Don Newcombe.
Happy Birthday Newk. When I was in LA in ’09 he was the most interesting person I spoke to. We were like too old friends.
Happy retirement to Aaron Miles. He decided to hang ’em up.
Sure would’ve rather had Miles than Kennedy, but its interesting that Ned was still the only one to come a’callin when 29 other teams passed on Aaron after he had what I thought was a pretty solid season last year. I’m thinking that 29 other teams felt he was done, now Aaron knows he’s done, but there was Ned again with a contract in hand because he has no clue.
I’m surprised or more disappointed that Miles didn’t wait a little longer. Maybe a need for him would’ve arose.
Time is very cruel…nothing hurts like not being able to play…the body just can’t answer the bell.
Hi Everybody
We got another game here to win.
GO DODGERS!!!
Maybe that will be it for the Whitesox.
I hope so!
I find it disturbing that Clayton’s giving up so many home runs. He just hasn’t been himself . . . 😦
Hi, ..Sometimes it’s just a bad start. Most likely mistakenly gave Adam a fat pitch.
Hya doin’ Tru?
I’m good….a little hot here today but, its okay…much better than the cold.
We got one back.
( ( 😉 ) )
Kershaw (and any other Dodger pitcher) needs to be fined whenever he gives up a home run on a 0-2 count. Scully was so pissed off about it that he refused to elaborate about it. Old school teaches to NEVER throw a strike with that count.
He was a little miffed, indeed!
I’ve never heard Vinny so disgusted since I’ve been listening to him. Miffed – to put it mildly!
Looked like Kersh didn’t trust Dunn on 0-2. (lol)
WTF, Kersh!
Clayton didn’t look too good in those 3 innings.
I’m thinking that his foot problem is a lot worse than they’re telling us.
Could be.
He says it’s feeling much better….I just think he’s having a rough spell….Dee’s errors aren’t exactly helping him ether.
Giants are winning.
I saw that…..come on Mariners….help us out!
Andre hit that pitch real well but too close to Beckham.
OK Uribe, Let’s keep it going, guys..
Rally time?
Damn, Tony…that was sooooo high!
Yes….way to go DeJesus!
Nice goin. IDJ.
Yippeeee – we got a run! It’s a game again – we’re close. Now, let’s take advantage of it!!
Sheeit….what the hell was that, Dee?!
I think they call it a bunt, but I’m not sure that word is in Dee’s dictionary!!
He needs more lessons on how to lay down a bunt! Kersh does a better job than that.
Tru, you and I could do better than that 😉
Elian comes through again! I’m loving his play!
I really like Elian! He must play everyday!
Oh Boy!!! Harrera.we’re noted up.
Way to go Rivera!
Clayton is going for the win.
The offense awakens! 🙂
It’s about time you showed up!
C’mon Dre – they’re waiting for you to pick ’em up!!
Vinny…..Dodgers come up with a high five in the bottom of the 6th …..love him!
Nice going Coffey.
The Three Tenors who sang the Star Spangled Banner and God Bless America – wow! Great voices, wonderful harmonies. Raised goose bumps!!!
They were superb!
Sumbitch!
I’ll second that!
Well, that blows!
Looks like we have anothe ND for our starters. that # 23.
We need another big inning.
Yep, we do!
Hooray for wild pitches!!
I’m for whatever works. . . 😉
Thank You.
Sure seems there have been a lot more wild pitches than usual the past few seasons.
I’ve been noticing that the catchers have become a little “lazy” and don’t block or move as well. Can’t blame lack of athleticism.
Maybe, but it seems to me more a lack of control than a blocking the plate issue.
All right Kenley! WTG!!! Winning streak . . . .
Nice pitching by Mr. Jansen!
Awesome….who would have thought we’d pull this one out?!
I sure had my doubts. That’s why I was quiet for so long tonight. I didn’t want to jinx any thing.
I really didn’t think we’d be able to come back – just overjoyed to be proven wrong.
That’ll work!
The Cardiac kids pull out another come from behind win!
Kenley was brillient again and another incredible victory for our Dodgers….And with Giants right up their aXXXx
This Dodger team sure makes things interesting. Even Vinny seems surprised at how things are going.
That was a heckuva rally in the sixth inning. Elian Herrera with another double, giving him doubles from both sides of the plate tonight! This guy is a definite keeper. I don’t want to see Kennedy starting any more games.
The Oakland A’s have released Manny. Don’t anyone tell Ned. He’s been looking for a bat.
Way to go Dodgers!!!! Love coming home thinking they had lost (hubby was saying they were losing at the time) and finding out they came back to win – yeah!!
Perhaps it is a bit early to even bring this up but Elian Herrera reminds me a bit about what happened in 1965 when Tommy Davis went down and the Dodgers brought up a career minor leaguer named Lou Johnson. Sweet Lou helped propel the Dodgers to the World Series. Could it happen again?
We’re evidently in contension for Dempster along with the Yankees.
Don’t know who’s being considered in the trade, but let’s say it’s Loney, Eovaldi and a third lesser prospect – would you do it? I’m assuming that he’s a rent-a-guy for only the rest of the season.
I wouldn’t give them Eovaldi. You know the Cubs know he (Dempster) ain’t going to stay in their loser organization after this season, so realistically Loney and a pitching prospect like Webster should be enough. If the Yankmes want to give them more, then let them. This team needs a bat a helluva lot more than it needs another old pitcher though.
I would do that trade, except substitute Withrow or Martin for Eovaldi. We need Eovaldi to fill in for whomever is hurt, be it Lilly or Harang or … We don’t need Loney, so this trade would basically help us prepare for the playoffs. Is Dempster better than Harang or Lilly? Probably.
I don’t know a lot about Dempster other than he is 35 years old but I don’t think he is worth 3 players, two of which are currently on the 25 man roster. I can understand using Loney as trade bait but I would feel better if there were some hot shot prospect waiting for his spot.
I want Cole Hamels! He’s not close to a deal with Philly and, he’s hot! Would look great in Dodger Blue!
I’d love to see Hamels in Dodger blue, as well as Josh Hamilton. Now that would be a GREAT outfield!
That would be awesome!
It’s nice to be able to dream again, isn’t it?
Matt Garza would be a better choice. He’s younger (28), still under team control through 2014, and consistently good (five years at WHIP of 1.25 or so). It might take a pretty good package to get him. I’d certainly be willing to do Loney, Webster, and another prospect for him.
