Oops…..typo…..TGJ ;-)I know our Inter-League record is less than stellar but, we have a certain swag now! I think we will come home a winner!

One thing we have this year that we’ve never really had in the past is a true DH. We’ve got Rivera and Abreu now where before we’ve had to use guys like Carroll and Loretta. It should help having guys that are used to doing it and that can actually hit.

  2. crash24now says:

I hate the dumb DH rule. I hate stupid interleague play.

P.S. Bobby is playing LF and batting between Juan and Jerry.

    Hi everybody
Thanks VL4CCJR for letting me know that the last time the Dodgers swept the Phillies in a four game series in Philadelphia, before last night, was in 1946.
I checked out the game log for that year. We won single games on 5/24 and 5/25 and a doubleheader on 5/26. I hope this helps anyone else that didn’t know.
It was a few months before I became a fan.
Let’s go Dodgers in Seattle, Do better than in ’09 when we lost that series 2-1.

  4. Damn is that speed gun right? 96-97 from Nathan?

  5. oldbrooklynfan says:

I’m watching the Mariners’ feed on TWC MLB-Extra Innings, I have it muted and listening to Steiner & Monday on Gameday audio. The audio is a little ahead of the TV. I actually know what’s going to happen a few seconds before I see it.

  6. trublu4ever says:

Damn, guys, it’s ancient Millwood pitching!

  7. oldbrooklynfan says:

Jesus, that was some catch by Montero.

  8. vl4eccjr says:

Good evening all. Just watching the Rangers – Giants game here. Where I live, there’s always Rangers & Astros coverage. Kinsler took Zito deep in the 1st. Rangers up early 1-0.

  9. oldbrooklynfan says:

Millwood has a perfect game going.
I just type that hoping to jinx him.

  10. oldbrooklynfan says:

    So much for the perfecto.

  11. trublu4ever says:

Gnats losing 3 – 0 now….Josh took Barry deep! Love it!

  12. oldbrooklynfan says:

Everything I’m watching seems like a replay, because Charlie already told me what happened on the audio.

  13. oldbrooklynfan says:

Oh in case you forgot, Milwood is pitching a NO-HITTER.

  14. How in the hell can these guys let the ancient mariner no-hit them? Pathetic.

  15. crash24now says:

It doesn’t matter that Millwood has a no-hitter going. What matters is that Eovaldi is keeping us close (tied) and eventually we’ll score.

  16. trublu4ever says:

    Okay….rally time!

  17. crash24now says:

    Millwood is out! What?!?

  18. trublu4ever says:

    Shit…..poor Millwood!

  19. Obviously they need some serious Beaver mojo…

    Dee sucks.

  20. oldbrooklynfan says:

    Took about JINX. (haha)

  21. Being The Beav, you’d think Furbush would be my favorite player.

  22. vl4eccjr says:

    Jeez!
With a last name like Furbush, I can only imagine the flack this guy got growing up!! LOL

  23. oldbrooklynfan says:

Maybe we’ll have better luck against Furbush

  24. Starting to look like we’re going to have to do this the 2009 way – score a run without a hit.

  25. oldbrooklynfan says:

We won before without a hit.

  26. crash24now says:

Seattle helping us with bad throw. Now take advantage.

  27. oldbrooklynfan says:

    No comment on Ethier……

  28. For a guy that doesn’t have nearly the power of Kemp, Dre strikes out WAY too much.

  29. trublu4ever says:

    Sheeeit!

  30. vl4eccjr says:

    Pitifull!

  31. crash24now says:

I hate when that happens. We couldn’t take advantage of the pitcher’s error. All I wanted to say was “Boy, Furbush really screwed the pooch with that throw”

  32. oldbrooklynfan says:

Ethier seems to be chasing the same way outside pitch.

  33. Bad enough they can’t get Eovaldi any runs, but now they can’t even get him a hit.

  34. trublu4ever says:

    Crapola!

  35. I’ve had enough. Nite all.

  36. vl4eccjr says:

Shit! Elbert should have gotten out unscathed.

  37. oldbrooklynfan says:

Lindblom has to hold it right there.

  38. crash24now says:

Ouch – groin strain for Millwood.

  39. oldbrooklynfan says:

    That what we need WALKS.

  40. crash24now says:

I can’t believe the Mariners are still rocking a no-hitter.

  41. oldbrooklynfan says:

    Wayta go Jerry.

  42. crash24now says:

How many Mariners does it take to throw a no-hitter?

  43. crash24now says:

    Stupid Donnie-boy and his bunting.

  44. oldbrooklynfan says:

    Okay Loney nice bunt.

  45. 32and53fan says:

I just tuned in after having a bee removal guy cut a hole in my roof and take out a huge honeycomb to find out the Dodgers are being no hit in the 8th inning. Looks like Nate pitched a gem too.
    Come on TGJ…

  46. oldbrooklynfan says:

A wild pitch may be our best bet.

  47. trublu4ever says:

    Unbelievable!

  48. vl4eccjr says:

CRAP!! Another wasted opportunity! Oh well! Giants down 5-0 now.

  49. oldbrooklynfan says:

    Well ……….still have another shot.

  50. vl4eccjr says:

Final Rangers 5 Giants 0. CG S/O for Harrison.

  51. crash24now says:

Good job by Lindblom. Now we got top of the order – we got this.

  52. oldbrooklynfan says:

Giants are still losing inthe 9th.

  53. trublu4ever says:

    Noooooo way…he was safe!

  54. crash24now says:

Ump wants a no-hitter – Dee was safe!

  55. vl4eccjr says:

I haven’t seen the old suck-o-meter pegged like this for a long time!

  56. trublu4ever says:

Oh, well….we will get them tomorrow.

  57. 32and53fan says:

That’s something you don’t see every day or even every decade.

  58. oldbrooklynfan says:

    That’s OK the Gnats lost.
