I hope this works! Let’s win this game in spite of Donnie!

  2. JhallWally says:

Good Grief!!! Kennedy batting 5th. Ahead of AJ, Loney, and Gwynn. The clown shouldn’t even be starting, let alone batting 5th and protecting Andre… Geez…. DilDon continues to remove all doubt that he is a freaking dildo…

  3. enchantedbeaver says:

    Had to like this post.

Beavers and panties just go together.

  4. sparkleplenty1 says:

Love the rally panties – hate the line-up!

    • enchantedbeaver says:

Love Dildon’s comment on yesterday’s game – this team’s not good enough to just score a couple runs and make it stand. Then he goes out and puts up another crappy line-up today with Harang pitching. How is it you can figure that Kennedy has a good enough glove to start over Sellers, and a good enough bat to start over Herrera?

  5. trublu4ever says:

    YAY….a run!

  6. vl4eccjr says:

    Good evening all!
How in the hell can you put a .175 hitter in the 5 hole? WTF is Donnie thinking?

  7. trublu4ever says:

    Wow! Way to go!

  8. vl4eccjr says:

    Whoa! Thanks Maybin!

  9. 32and53fan says:

Great post Tru! A picture is worth a thousand words. ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. vl4eccjr says:

    WTG James!!

  11. trublu4ever says:

    And, Loweenio with a rbi!

  12. vl4eccjr says:

I’m digging it! The Rally Panties seem to be working! The question is; What if they break into a really bad losing streak? Would that mean it would be time for the Rally Thong? . . .

  13. vl4eccjr says:

Wow! The Kings are on a roll up 3-0. They look unstopable!!!

  14. trublu4ever says:

  15. koufax1963 says:

Harang is pitching well. Dee’s error, tired of it. Loney is at .237 now, and the RBIs keep coming, Just play him. But the panties are the real stat. comment on the previous thread.GO Dodgers! Bring in the Angry Birds this weekend! Shots?!

  16. trublu4ever says:

    Love Dre!

  17. trublu4ever says:

    Love A.J. too!

  18. vl4eccjr says:

  19. nedisajerk says:

Yeah Ellis still the man Santana who’s?

  20. trublu4ever says:

    Wow…Harang! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  21. nellyjune says:

    Way to go Aaron!!!

  22. vl4eccjr says:

WOW! Harang helps himself out, with help from Hinshaw!
    You gotta love it!!

  23. trublu4ever says:

Fantastic pitching tonight…..way to go Aaron!

  24. vl4eccjr says:

    A nice outing for Harang.

  25. nellyjune says:

Well, Harang is definitely more of a #2 than Billz is that’s for sure.

  26. vl4eccjr says:

Did anyone catch the Bee swarm problem they had at Coors today vs. Dbacks on Sportcenter? Crazy!

    • trublu4ever says:

I did…it scared the hell out of me!

      • vl4eccjr says:

They scare me too. I think I’ve been bitten by just about everything else in the insect world but them, so I still don’t know to this day if I’m allergic or not to Bee stings.

  27. trublu4ever says:

Do you think a 7 run lead is enough to cover Coffey?

  28. trublu4ever says:

A winning streak started once again.

  29. vl4eccjr says:

    So much for the shutout.
    Oh well! It’s still a ‘W’. . .

  30. nedisajerk says:

Once again this team don’t like to pitch shutout.

  31. oldbrooklynfan says:

How about that Harang? His 2nd gem with 6 quality starts and all our starters have ERAs under 4. The bats were alive tonight. Among the RBI Ethier got his 35th and A,J, now has 17.

  32. JhallWally says:

Woo-Hoo….We Win!! The power of the panties!!!

  33. trublu4ever says:

Rumor has it that the Dodgers have their eye on Kevin Youkilis….good idea or is he another one past his prime?

    • sparkleplenty1 says:

When I saw that the Red Sox were thinking of moving him, I immediately thought that Ned would start drooling. He’s somewhat past his prime; I think we need to let Tattoo play third!

    • dodgereric says:

Kerry Wood is retiring…….until Ned finds out.

    • JhallWally says:

Interesting proposition Tru.. He is 33 now and a free agent after this year although the Red Sux do have a team option for 2013. He is better than anything we have now and it would most likely be the end of Uribum. That in itself makes it very intriguing. It would really depend on what we had to give up to get him. They are looking for pitching. I would not trade any of our top drawer young pitchers for him. I would ship out Billz, Coffey, and Guerrier for him however. I’d still like to see what Josh Fields can do.

  34. koufax1963 says:

Youklis, I wonder what chemistry he would bring to the clubhouse, recently married, I kinda think he has his mind on other things than baseball.

  35. crash24now says:

Incredible post, TruMom! I was checking the score all night, but never got on OTD. How in the world could the pathetic lineup score eight runs? Now that I see your post, it all makes sense. Go Rally Panties!

  36. messagebear says:

Youkilis, another “known name” that is bound to fade over the next three or four years. As a free agent he’s likely to demand a contract of at least that length. That’s exactly the kind of guy that Ned would sign, and we have yet to see what the thinking is of guys like Kasten concerning that type of addition. I would rather look for someone in his late twenties with a proven bat at the major league level before I traded for him or gave him an extended contract. As for Loney specifically, we need somebody at 1st base who can show power. We’ve had Loney long enough and have waited enough. Let him go and try somebody else.

    • nellyjune says:

Bleh!! No Youkilis!! If you are going to go after a Red Sox player, let them save their money for Dustin Pedroia. I know…..wishful thinking because I know he has a big contract with the Red Sox already, but one could hope, especially if Andre gets to stay as a Dodger for a while ๐Ÿ™‚

    Charlie Manuel, umpire suspended

    Updated: May 18, 2012, 2:35 PM ET

PHILADELPHIA — Phillies manager Charlie Manuel has been suspended one game for his nose-to-nose argument with plate umpire Bob Davidson during a game on Tuesday night.

Davidson also received a one-game suspension for what Major League Baseball called “repeated violations” in how umpires are supposed to handle situations.

Manuel was ejected in the eighth inning of a 4-3, 10-inning win over Houston. He thought a ball had been foul tipped and got into an argument with Davidson that escalated into profanities. He’ll serve the suspension on Friday night when the Phillies host the Boston Red Sox.

Davidson also will serve his suspension on Friday, missing the Minnesota Twins’ interleague game at Milwaukee. A minor league call-up umpire will take his place.

  38. crash24now says:

Same lineup tonight (swapping out Harang for Lilly). Dildon must think that just because we scored eight runs, that it’s a smart thing to bat Adam Kennedy #5.

God help us. (or Mike Scoscia or somebody with half a brain).

  39. vl4eccjr says:

Verlander is making a bid for a no hitter against the Pirates.

  40. vl4eccjr says:

    Nice 1-2-3 start for Lilly!

  41. trublu4ever says:

Teddy….way to go! Dee has to learn that he does not play every position on the field!

  42. trublu4ever says:

Shit…wouldn’t you know, Kennedy would get the first hit!

  43. vl4eccjr says:

Wow! Kennedy’s officially above the Mendoza line now. .

  44. vl4eccjr says:

    WTG James!

  45. trublu4ever says:

    Way to go A.J.!

  46. vl4eccjr says:

    A.J. is the man!

  47. JhallWally says:

  48. trublu4ever says:

    Hot, hot, hot!

  49. vl4eccjr says:

    Nice going Tony!

  50. JhallWally says:

Kennedy and Loney found their big boy panties…

  51. trublu4ever says:

I hope you were watching Dee….that’s how you lay down a bunt!

  52. trublu4ever says:

    Okay…no more sloppy shit!

  53. trublu4ever says:

God damn, these umpires! Who the hell do they think they are?! This is by far the worst year ever!!!!

  54. vl4eccjr says:

These umps are getting out of hand. . .

  55. JhallWally says:

The league needs to do something about this umpire BS!!!

  56. trublu4ever says:

    Well, isnt this peachy keen!

  57. JhallWally says:

    Well shit…..

  58. vl4eccjr says:

Holy shit! Talk about snake bit!!!!

  59. crash24now says:

  60. vl4eccjr says:

    What’s gotten into Kennedy? LOL

  61. trublu4ever says:

Beav will be happy that Adam has 2 hits tonight. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  62. crash24now says:

Rally panties have gotten Kennedy’s attention!

  63. vl4eccjr says:

  64. JhallWally says:

Rats!! Well, at least we tied it up..

  65. crash24now says:

Gwynn is hot. Any idea why he’s not batting leadoff instead of the little guy who is flirting with the Mendoza line?

  66. trublu4ever says:

TGJ should be leading off….bat Gordon 8th!

  67. trublu4ever says:

Unbelievble….the bottom of the order is doing all the work tonight!

  68. trublu4ever says:

Come on A.J., give us the lead.

  69. vl4eccjr says:

    More wasted opportunities. . .

  70. vl4eccjr says:

    Dee’s funk continues. . .

  71. JhallWally says:

It’s time to pull the plug on Gordon…

  72. 32and53fan says:

@Skinnyswag9 avg is getting skinnier… the look of swag was gone after that K.

  73. trublu4ever says:

Seriously, Justin is much better on defense and, could bat 8th…with TGJ leading off until Matty comes back.

  74. trublu4ever says:

    Wonderful…Mark just got hurt!!

  75. vl4eccjr says:

Ruh roh! I hope Mark isn’t hurt bad.

  76. crash24now says:

Kennedy is “perfect” tonight, but he leaves the job to Loweenio.

  77. trublu4ever says:

    James….way to go!

  78. JhallWally says:

WTG Loney!! James is starting to put it together. So Dildon will probably bench him tomorrow.

  79. JhallWally says:

    C’mon Josh…….

  80. JhallWally says:

KKK Struck out the side… WTG Josh!!

  81. trublu4ever says:

    Nice recovery, Josh!

  82. vl4eccjr says:

Whew! Josh had to work hard that inning!!

  83. crash24now says:

    Time for an insurance run!

  84. trublu4ever says:

A few insurance runs would be very nice.

  85. vl4eccjr says:

May we please get an insurance run or two?

  86. trublu4ever says:

Way to run that ball out, Justin!

  87. crash24now says:

    Tattoo for you!

  88. vl4eccjr says:

    Wow! What a break!

  89. crash24now says:

    Oh-fer five Dee

  90. JhallWally says:

    Let’s go Kenley!!! Clap…Clap

  91. crash24now says:

    Let’s go Kenley!

  92. trublu4ever says:

Kenley….do your thing! Two more outs, baby!

  93. vl4eccjr says:

  94. crash24now says:

    Shit! That hurts!

  95. JhallWally says:

  96. JhallWally says:

    Rally Panties!!!!

  97. trublu4ever says:

    Whoa….Kennedy, you’re the man!

  98. vl4eccjr says:

Wow! Did Donnie light a fire under Kennedy’s ass, or what?

  99. nellyjune says:

The rally panties are working for Kennedy and Loney tonight.
    Come on AJ!!!

  100. JhallWally says:

    Woo-Hoo!! Win Streak!!

  101. vl4eccjr says:

    Awesome A.J.!!! Tremendous eye!

  102. trublu4ever says:

    Whew….what a freaky win! I’ll take it!!!!!

  103. nellyjune says:

    Way to go boys!!!

  104. crash24now says:

An AJ walk for the win!

  105. crash24now says:

Nice to take the first one from the Cards!

  106. koufax1963 says:

  107. vl4eccjr says:

The Lakers pulled the rabbit out & won a squeaker. Very questionable officiating, and alot of non calls sure helped.

  108. crash24now says:

I don’t usually complain about such trivial stuff, but…. it seems like Jansen stole the win from Lilly.

  109. nedisajerk says:

I’m not sure if I’m happy with the Lakers win our the lopsided FT’s edge in the Lakers favor 42-28 and blowing another lead late.

  110. kahliforni says:

The vulture, Phil Regan. Lance Berkman is soooooooo pure.

  111. oldbrooklynfan says:

WOW another exciting win for the Dodgers. After Berkman’s HR, we couldn’t ask for a more exciting victory. A.J. using his eyes for the walk off. Another fantastic gem from Lilly with just a bad inning. Jansen was great in his volture win along wit Lindblom and their 6 big strikeouts. How about Loney & Kennedy tonight?

  112. nedisajerk says:

    D Gordon SS 5 0 0 0 0 1 12 .200 .239 .255

    T Gwynn CF 4 0 2 1 0 1 19 .293 .354 .400

Damn what’s wrong with this picture? Can anyone figure this one out?

  113. nedisajerk says:

Should we used Gwynn and AJ Eliis in the 1st 2 spots now and moved Mark to the 7th spot but I like Mark as the 2nd hitters. If AJ not going to bat 5th why not used Mark there?

  114. trublu4ever says:

Just saw the Giants signed Brad Penny to minor league deal…they must really be hard up ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • JhallWally says:

LOL!! It’s worth a shot on the cheap. He just might work out as a middle reliever. I would bet he will be better than Coffey. Sigh….

I wonder what lineup Dildon will run out there today?
Going against a righty. So, hopefully he will leave Loney in there. Gotta figure Kennedy is a lock for the 5 spot after the last 2 games. He has actually produced.
I like your suggestion yesterday. Bat Gwynn leadoff and start Sellers at SS and bat him 8th. Dee needs to go down.
I’d bet that MEllis is not in the lineup today. So Herrera will probably get the start.

This would be my lineup for tonight with the bodies we have available.

      Gwynn CF
      AJEllis C
      Abreau LF
      Ethier RF
      Kennedy 3B
      Loney 1B
      Herrera 2B
      Sellers SS
      Kersh P

Of course Dildon won’t move AJ up to the 2 hole.

      • nedisajerk says:

I can’t believe it took Kennedy the past 2 games to have a respectable obp lol.

        • JhallWally says:

          I can’t believe he has a respectable OBP… LOL…
But, hey, I’m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
I’ll take it any way we can get it while Kemp and Hairston are out. And if we’re lucky, Uribum and Rivera will be out for an extended time. Addition by subtraction.

  115. lbirken says:

I know the Dodgers still seem to have relief pitching issues but that pitch Berkman hit last night was out of the strike zone but unfortunately high enough for him to pull. When he came up I said to my wife that I was concerned because in spite of his stats he is a dangerous hitter. Not sure if this is really true but it does seem he has hurt the Dodgers many time in the past. Then he hits that bomb, just a gread hitting job. Kenley threw a similar pitch to the next batter and struck him out. Thankfully the Dodgers were able to push a run across the board (o.k., they walked it in) in the bottom half of the inning. Andre looked so bad at the plate that inning swinging at those dreaded down and away pitches. Not sure he saw a strike in that entire at bat.

  116. crash24now says:

    De-Gordoned Lineup

    Gwynn cf
    Herrera 2b
    Abreu lf
    Ethier rf
    Kennedy 3b
    Loney 1b
    A. Ellis c
    Sellers ss
    Kershaw p

No Mark Ellis either. I hope he’s back tomorrow..

    • trublu4ever says:

Thanks, Crash. I hope Mark is back tomorrow too.

      • crash24now says:

Who woulda thunk we would have an infield featuring Kennedy, Tattoo, and Elian? Hope they can back up Kershaw well enough on defense to give us a good chance to win.
