Game six was a World Series game for the ages. What a roller coaster ride!
After that devastating loss, the Texas Rangers will have to summon up their best effort to overcome any so-called momentum that the Cardinals may now have. I don’t believe that momentum means anything in a one game series. It is all tied and either team can win it.
Good luck to both teams, but it would be nice for the Rangers to finally win a series after 50 years in the American League.
Here we go again…
The Rangers haven’t lost two in a row for quite a while. I just hope they stay true to form tonight, pound the shit out of Carpenter, get a nice big lead, and hold it this time!!
I’ll second that!
I’ll third that 🙂
Fourth here…… LOL!!
A very auspicious beginning 1-0 Rangers!
The auspiciousness continues… 2-0 Rangers!
It’s a start….but, we know it won’t be enough.
You got that right!
Fecal has been demoted to batting 7th.
I’d bat him 10th 😉
Good grief! Here we go again!!!
Harrison might not make it through 2 innings.
I don’t got it and why couldn’t Kuo have that the surgery last month and should’ve been shutdown early.
With all the surgeries he’s had, he may want to hang it up. Unless they start doing some type of bionic thing, his arm may fall off when he gets older.
Shee-yit!
Hamilton robbed of a walk there. I don’t know WTF was up with that call that was way outside!
Something doesn’t smell right with HP ump Layne’s strike zone. .
Maybe LaRussa slipped him some cash 🙂
It does appear he has different strike zones for different pitchers. He’s far from being consistent. I wouldn’t doubt it if he is being payed twice.
Look at the gameday! That was strike 3! He must have wood for Feldman!
( 🙂 )….it doesn’t look good for the Rangers.
Remember, this team comes back. They know they must, so they will – I hope 😉
This ump disgusts me to the utmost! Carp gets the corners & the Rangers don’t!!!
I’m flipping double birds to the birds! This series was decided before this game ever got started. . .Last night!
Nothing left to root for now except Kemp for MVP & Kershaw for Cy Young.
It’s been fun Dodger fans!! Even with all the drama this year & with all the distractions, alot of good times! Hasta luego!
Okay….that’s over, thank goodness……now, waiting for Spring Training.
RAFFY
THE RIOT
DOTEL
JACKSON
all get WS rings after leaving Dodgers organization.
Wow!!
I know he’s not an ex Dodgers but I’m glad Berkman got one after his Astros got swept.
BUMMER!!!!!!!
Only 100 days until the first spring training game against the White Sox 🙂
.
Congrats to Raffy!! Glad you got out just in time.
Now the real fun starts – seeing what Ned comes back with to “improve” the team.
It’s sure to be a doozy of an off season no doubts. Don’t we say that every off season? Oh yea……Frank and Ned….enough said.
Obviously the Rangers are built on good bats, but a mediocre pitching staff. In particular they don’t have a money pitcher, and the Cards did. That’s been a World Series difference for as long as I can remember.
That’s a wrap. I found myself pulling for the Cards and hoping the Rangers would make more of a a game of it. In the late innings I started to feel the disappointment of the Rangers, especially Washington. O well, thems the breaks. Everything considered it was quite a run for St. Louis.

I saw a 35 mil a year figure for Pujols. F**k that. I say keep Loney and find some pitching. It would be a wonderful thing if some of these quality FA fell into our lap, but how likely is that? I do not see much going on there until ownership is settled.
And I’m glad to see Furcal get out of there with a ring. I doubt he’ll be back with the Cards, but those veteran shortstops sure come in handy come the playoffs.
As we all know the Dodgers took 71 years of existence before they won a World Series, 65 of those years in the N.L. The Rangers haven’t been around that long and they’ve only been in two World Series.
Yes that 6th game was one of the most exciting World Series games of all time. It was incredible how both teams forth to win. What never say die spirit. No matter who you were rooting for we all experienced numerous “highs” and “lows, thinking about what the outcome meant.
Steve Dilbeck of the L.A. Times notes that the Dodgers lead the Majors with 10 pending free agents. Dilbeck says that the club is looking to go young behind the plate next year, aren’t expected to offer arbitration to Type B free agent Rod Barajas
It’s kind of sad because he’d be a wonderful mentor for the kids.
Don’t know where Dilbeck’s been, Ned routinely turns over half the roster each and every year, and always has 8-10 FAs. Its another reason why there’s never been much of any continuity from one season to the next with Ned running the show.
I think some of our media has been in a cloud of FranknNed fog for a few years now and are finally stepping in the crap Frank and Ned have been shoveling at the fans.
Don’t forget, Ned wants to add a “big” bat…provided he has the funds 😉
Looks like Aramis Ramirez is available . . . but don’t tell Ned!
Tony LaRussa retired.
Oh man and he was like some 35 games behind John McGraw for 2nd places on the all time managerial list. We lost Torre and Cox last year
I remember I said something about this about Torre last year and do you think they would let LaRussa coach the NL AS games?
Don’t look now, but theirs an Indian FA OF now. He’s broke down, played in only 210 games since 09, and will need a good trainer to help. Except for that last part, this for sure is a Ned signing.
Cardinals decline options for Dotel and Furcal. No surprise there. I am happy for Raffy that he got his ring, but to think Dotel got a ring when he purely sucked while playing for the Dodgers is just wrong.

“Can you picture what will be so limitless and free…”
its sickening to think that this whole fiasco started with the announcement of Frank “the weasel” and Jamie “the skank” the day before NLDS 2008. 3 years later and millions upon millions revealed to of been used inappropriately, and, what most if not all have asked since Day 1 of this, and now it may finally be coming to an end. Key word is may.
The renovations to the stadium, the parking lot getting repaved, probable car lots or parking structures being made to facilitate and easier go. Trollies from said structures up to the stadium, and such. Better food, better product on the field, etc.
We all know its a bussiness, and it can’t be free, but give a day or a week to the less fortunate. Kids Day, Homeless Help, etc. Things like that would help bring back the ideals that Dodger baseball has stood for.
Adding a metal detector to the entrances and modernizing the scoreboards would also help. Some people have suggested that tearing down Dodger Stadium and building a new, modern, luxurious version is key. Like with St. Louis and Mets and Target Field.
The workers are a joke. Fire them and hire good people.
All this is now feasible due to the fact that this may be winding down. At what point was Frank willing to accept defeat, IDK. Nobody probably will know, but this offseason, unless a sell is done quickly, the BIG NAME FA’s will be gone by the time this is signed, wrapped and delivered. Here’s to a great going away party.
I’ll bring the carne asada and chips.
