Just for the sake of conversation, what are everyone’s thoughts and projections for Yasel Puig??
Puig is a real puzzlement to me.
I haven’t seen a whole lot written about him. My thinking here is though, the team paid a ton of money to acquire him, he has to feel some sense of urgency to get to the show, with his friend and fellow countryman Yoenis Cespedes having such quick success. That being said, I have no clue as to where his development is at the moment, was just wondering if anyone else has a better idea??
When they signed Puig, he hadn’t even played in a year. That said, he tore it up in AZ Rookie League, then did OK at Cucamonga. He’s struggled both with the bat and with a staph infection in the winter league in Puerto Rico.
I’ve read he has an attitude issue or three and is quite immature. He thinks he’s ready to play in the big leagues. I think they’ll start him out in AA, maybe Hi-A this year and bump him up to AAA if he’s making strides. A September call-up isn’t out of the question, but I’m not going to hold my breath on this guy.

My 2013 prediction for the Dodgers as they stand right now,
not so good, 88-74. And, they don’t make the playoffs. There are still too many holes and Dildon isn’t a big game manager.
